My First Post
Yes I am officially a dork. I have started an online journal. Like in the RIT Theme Song. Ok so I'm probably not going to write about my day everyday, maybe here and there. What I am going to try to do is post something for your entertainment everyday. It may be a funny movie or music clip or something I think is cool like a website. You can then comment on it. I may also talk about my day if applicable.
So here's my cool item of the day for my first day:

For those of you that haven't talked to me recently, you are probably the only ones I haven't told about this site. This site puts up one item for sale each day (you can purchase up to 3 with $5 shipping per order) usually at a lower price than you can find it anywhere else, including eBay. It is typically some sort of electronic and it is up there for that price until it sells out. The new item is posted Monday - Friday 1am EST. People can then buy it and post comments about it in a message board associated with the item. Every couple of weeks they will have what is called a woot-off where they don't sell only one item that day but instead post one item and when that sells out they then post another item. This will usually go on for about 10 or so items. The site has a great sense of humor also with items such as Bag O Crap where they send you a box full of random items from the warehouse for 1$ plus the standard $5 shipping on everything. People have gotten Sausages, plastic Christmas trees and what they call priority pucks in these bags of crap, others get better items like wireless keyboards and mouse or hoovercrafts. I have purchased a bag of crap from them containing 6 priority pucks, a woot t shirt, a cellular pen, a plastic Christmas tree, and a neoprene bag. I also purchased two Sony external DVD burners that go for about 250$ each for about $80 each. I kept one and sold the other for a profit. So if you want to find some cool gadgets cheap check the site out.

This one goes along with woot as this site ripped off the idea from woot of an item a day, originally they even had the same layout, only the title of the page and item was different. They have since redesigned their site and their concept a little bit so that their item of the day continually gets cheaper as time goes on if you wait too long for the lower price it may sell out. They are also different in that they have more general items like jewelry and appliances whereas woot is geared towards electronics and cool gadgets.
